EVENT SUMMARY
This event celebrated the Life, Love and Legacy of Dr. JoeAnn Ballard, who has selflessly and tirelessly ministered to Memphis's impoverished communities for 50 years. Dr. Ballard, along with her husband, Monroe Ballard, Sr., was able to do this through their own self-commitment of serving their neighbors in need while fostering over 75 children in their home. Eventually, Dr. Ballard was able to extend this ministry by partnering with local churches and ultimately founded Neighborhood Christian Centers, Inc. 39 years ago which has grown and now has six sites inside six of Memphis's most impoverished neighborhoods.
